¶Figuring out how to support new faculty effectively is an important component of institutionalizing a new curriculum, particularly if the curriculum differs substantially in both content and pedagogy from what new faculty have experienced in learning physics themselves. The PI has team-taught several paradigm courses with her post doctoral fellows, who then assume responsibility for teaching a course on their own.
