Section 4.7 Using Technology to Visualize Series Expansions

The first applet below, in Figure 4.7.1, shows the power series expansion for an electrostatic potential, with the default being two oppositely charged point charges located at \(x=\pm1\text{.}\) The second applet below, in Figure 4.7.2, shows the Laurent series expansion for the same potential.
